On Wednesday the 27th September, Year 5 skilfully interviewed a wide range of visitors, connected with the school's history in different ways: former pupils, members of staff - including the former Headteacher Gerry Mills and Deputy Headteacher Sue Bagguley. This is Mike Edwards - he's the reason our whole history project came to be. Mike used to go to Red Cross Street School, where ASDA is now located. When that school closed, he was amongst the first children to attend the new West Park Primary School which opened in July 1967. He is organising a school reunion at the Heritage Centre on October 20th and so contacted the school about it. This is how the idea of doing a project about our school's history was born.
