Images from Roger and Maurice's past...
In our performance in early December, we will be telling stories all about this area of town which no longer exists. We are so lucky to have found out about it from Roger and Maurice, who used to live there.
Second along in the row above you can see part of the old football ground on Molineux Street, plus the bottom of Vincent Street, where Roger lived. Maurice appears as a child in both photos of the children above.
On the left are photographs of Red Cross Street School.
On the right, can you see Red Cross Street School surrounded by wasteland? It was left standing alone after all of the surrounding streets and terraced housing had been demolished. When it finally disappeared, ASDA was built on that spot.
